Some of the new additions this year are Bat N' Rouge a pickup softball game between the IndySluggers and the Indy Pride Bag Ladies, karaoke and sound system provided by Rock Star Promotions, Bingo, and other fun activities for the entire family!

Come join Indy Pride and YOUR community for Pride Week's annual "funraiser" the Pride Skate '10. The theme this year is "Rainbow Roll!' A fun-filled, family-friendly roller skating night with rockin' tunes from Talbott Street's DJ Deanne, the famous "Drag Skate" race, and more. This year, let's "wheel with pride" and come dressed in all the rainbow colors that you got!
For $10, you will get skate rental, a pizza buffet, and soft drinks. What a deal!

Just as important as fun and festivities are for Pride, it is also important that we give something back to the community that we are a part. To that end, Indy Pride has designated the Monday of Circle City IN Pride week as a Day of Service.

Milk, the movie that won Lance Black and Sean Penn Oscars, has raised awareness of the amazing contribution Harvey Milk made to the cause of GLBT rights. Before that movie was made, there was Oscar winning documentary call The Times of Harvey Milk. We will be watching that documentary, and then holding a discussion on what it means to be politically active in 2010.

A Pride Parade was added in 2005 prior to the Festival in University Park. The first parade featured one float, an antique truck, a few drag queens, some antique cars, and several walking groups. The parade lasted approximately 15 minutes. By 2008, the Pride Parade had grown to over 100 units including several floats, walking groups, and the Pride of Indy Marching Band. The 2009 Parade lasted approximately 1½ hours. 2010 is going to be even bigger!
